 The Gamma-Rho Chapter House
The Gamma-Rho Chapter of Kappa Sigma Fraternity was the first national
fraternity founded in the state of Arizona, and we are currently the
largest chapter in the state as well. Founded in 1915, we have over
1,000 initiated alumni and have an undergraduate membership that
usually ranges from 110 – 130. Kappa Sigma’s International motto is
“Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service”. Locally we take
this to heart:
-
our strong brotherhood is best illustrated by seeing that more of our
alumni come back to UofA Homecoming each year than any other
organization;
|
|
-
our campus leadership is second to none, we continue to have members
serve as ASUA Presidents, Senators, as members of Arizona Allegiance
& Bobcats (campus honoraries), and as leaders in other student
organizations;
|
|
-
we offer more scholarships than any other fraternity on campus and the
dollars grow each year as more alumni and parents contribute to our
endowment;
|
|
- our
commitment to service includes: adopting families during the Holidays,
hosting the UofA vs. ASU Blood Drive, contributing to the new UofA
Alumni Plaza, and requiring all members to contribute some time each
semester to worthy causes.
